What does Stalker and Crysis have in common? The mod Cryzone Sector 23,?that?s?what. While it is still early days for this mod the videos they have released look fantastic. Set in the world of Stalker, the mod aims to put the Cryengine to full use recreating the game Stalker.
WoS Team were using Cryengine 2 to create ?the mod but then recently decided to move to Cryengine 3. Many mods in the past that have tried to make the shift from one engine to another have unfortunately?..disapeared, heres hoping that Cryzone sector 23will?make the move succesfully.
WoS Team recently posted an update stating that the game was shifting from Mod status to ?indie game?,
CryZone?is not a ?modification for the game Crysis?. From now is a complete,?self-Indie-game on engine CryEngine 3.
And that?s no reason to worry about losing time when moving project from one to another engine,?CryZonehave already moved to?CE3, and is actively developed, as can be judged from the?first?screenshots.
Stating that the game is 80% done, after watching the videos, one can only hope that the final 20% comes soon.
